Adult Challenged Baseball

Opening Day for 2007 Season August 12, 5PM

We are creating a new adult baseball league for physically and mentally challenged adults.

The league will be more competitive for the older challenged athlete. Hitters can strike out and outs will be recorded on bases. The soft "reduced injury" baseballs will be used. Hitters can elect to hit from a tee with 2 strikes or swing at a pitched ball.

A 10 game fall schedule is planned starting on August 12, 5PM at Shady Drive.

New Players - $35 fee inlcudes potential spring 2007 and late summer/fall 2007 seasons, insurance, cap, jersey and pants.

Returning players - $12 Insurance renewal fee.

Call Ray Kovach if you are interested in volunteering to coach or know of a challenged athlete who would like to participate.
